Unhappy ‘18 Impreza EyeSight Failure

My 2018 Impreza EyeSight is having an issue where it fails on start when the weather gets very hot or very cold.
Anyone else have this issue? It seems to go away when we drive the car a bit and we restart the car.
Of course, it never shows the warning lights/message when we are at the dealership, so we are told to come back if it happens again.

Garage
I can't say I've ever noticed the EyeSight behave differently in extreme heat or cold. I have noticed it going offline when there is frost in front of the camera or too heavy of rain. If thats not the case for your car it may be a unique situation that needs checked into.

If there is a fog or windshield digging it’ll turn off. Also at times when I’m on a road with no lines. I guess ‘18 got the speed limit display?

Speed limit display is part of the Nav unit.

Took it to the dealer who read the code (a “Communication “ error). There is no known fix for it at this time.
Of course they can’t recreate it so they just tell you they will clear the code and to come back if it happens again.

Gee, that is really reassuring . . .

I'd escalate the complaint to SoA - at least they are the ones that need to supply the fix, so they should hear about it.
