Hello everyone,

This forum has been a tremendous source of knowledge for me, so thank you to everyone for your contributions!

I was wondering if anyone might be able to chime in regarding whether they've had luck fitting the 16x7 +50mm offset Sparco Terra on a US Sport trim? I've found some threads indicating that 16's will generally fit on the Sports, but I also found some info online that people were having trouble fitting the 16x7 +50mm Terras on their Crosstreks (which I thought were supposed to have the same front rotor OD as the Impreza Sport). So just looking to get some clarification here.

These are the wheels I am interested in.

Thank you!

If the rims fit on the 2018+ Crosstrek, they will fit on your Sport.

The Crosstrek forum people say only the 35mm offset 16" Terras fit, and that is what Tire Rack also says fit the 2018+ Crosstrek. I have the equivalent of Sport brakes on my base model, and my 45mm offset 16" Enkei fit great.

Just confirmed with a user on Reddit that they installed the 16" 50mm offset Terras on their Impreza Sport.

I wonder if the clearance issues on the Crosstrek are related to strut clearance and not brake clearance? will have to do more digging.

Looks nice! Do you have issues with a full turn? When I had my Method MR501 VT-Spec on without spacers the huge issue was that the wheel would rub on the tire rod at full turn. You may want to check that.
Thanks! Just went out to the car and checked, and there's no contact with the tie rod at full turn. FYI Tire Rack specs the 16" 50mm offset for all of the trim levels except for the Sport, so I wouldn't expect there to be any issues other than (maybe) the brake clearance (which also happens to be fine).

What size are those tires? Looks great.
Thank you! The tires are 215/65/R16 Yokohoma Geolandars, which comes out to a 27" OD. The stock tires w/ 18" rims was a 25.1" OD.

I did notice a couple things today - the tire shop set the pressures to the OEM pressure (33 psi) listed on the door jamb. However, when driving down the freeway I noticed a bit of "squirm" when the steering wheel was at center or very close to center. Also, by the end of my 30 minute freeway jaunt the TPMS was reporting 39psi. The tires felt warm to the touch when I got to my destination as well, so I'm thinking the tires are flexing too much and heating up, causing the increase in pressure while driving. I'm going to try upping the pressure a couple PSI at a time to see if that helps with both the driving manners and the pressure change.

I don't completely understand your comment. I just purchased a 2022 Impreza base model and want to upgrade the wheels. I like these sparco terras. For my trim, I should still do 50mm offset, and its all good? Thanks.

I know this is an old thread. I'll make a new one if there is no response. Thank you

I believe you should be good with the 50mm offset on your 2022 base model. Have you checked what tire rack recommends for your vehicle?
