After 14 Infinities, today placed order for black /black 5dr Limited with all options, look forward to February delivery. Test drive was very impressive, was considering Infiniti QX30 but liked impreza more.

That's an insane list. What's great about it is you experienced probably one of the best era's of Japanese vehicles. Quality was key and they hit on the ball during those times, even Lexus did.

Are you missing any of the luxury and typical things offered with that segment of vehicles or are you just a pure functionality guy that doesn't care for all the bells and whistles?

I still have my 2015 QX60 which replaced a 2013 Hylander which I loved. Our Q60 goes back in a couple of weeks and they wanted us to exchange it for the new QX30, but with our child about to start driving I wanted something very safe and not to overpowered, with good mpg's and in mn it has to be awd. I also am a follower of consumers reports and Suburu's always are highly rated. I kind of like higher end cars/suv's which is why I ordered a limited 5dr with every option. The one I drove seemed very nicely finished and very well equipted, even compared to the QX30. Obviously, I am very concerned with these issues that are being reported having gone through a buy back on our Q50 for the same problems. I guess when ours arrives (late FEB.?) I will have to hope the dealer is honest with us and if necessary I may have to switch to an outback or legacy or go back to the QX30.

That is a phenomenal history of vehicles with Infiniti. You should be on their VIP list or something!

Speaking of having your child about to start driving, it just reminds me oh so much about the Subaru commercials pushing the safety features for our younger generation drivers. I can see why you would go Subaru my friend.
