Has anyone ever removed the rocker panel covers on their Sport? I want to take mine off to wash out the rocker panels and Fluid Film inside them for rust protection. I think its just a couple screws and a bunch of clips, but I wanted to ask for advice before I just rip the thing off and destroy something 😅

I've never removed the skirts personally, but I believe they're just held on by clips/fasteners, not even any screws, unless the ones around the wheel arches also attach to the skirts. The only thing you may ruin is a couple fasteners.... they can be such a pain!

Thanks! That's what I assumed but I figured I'd ask for advice anyway. I found the new clips online so I will order a bag before I attempt it, so I can replace any I might break.

Get yourself a nice nylon or plastic pry set too, was so much easier to use to pull those clips than a flat head on all my old cars before.

Thanks for the tip. I do have a set of plastic pry tools. I'll definitely be using them 👍
