Has anyone had any experience with adding paddle shifters and the CVT hold feature (fake gear shifting) on a non-sport model? At this point I’m looking to trade her in for a manual or sport, but I’ve already invested so much that it may be worth continuing.

I've did some research.
But it seems not working as Mazda or other brand car.
You must change non-paddle shift type TCM to paddle-shift supported type TCM.
And register TCM hardware via SSM4 software.
Modification of hardware is easy but software thing is the key.
So I gave up.

Do you think any basic tuner could program this if I bought the hardware? Honestly I’m close to trading it in for a manual or sport model, but I’ve already done so much it would be a L.

Do you have the part number for this TCM module and could Subaru program this?
