Thanks for posting this. It answered one thing I had in mind but don't recall seeing on the forum here and that's an Impreza Hybrid:

Still no Impreza Hybrid? Earlier this year, Subaru mentioned that its new global platform would be adaptable to electrification in the future, but for now there are no details available about a battery-powered Impreza.

But that's just the platform they're talking about which can mean the Impreza or anything else that rides on that same platform, which can vary a lot.

All they said is that there isn't any details on it.. Doesn't mean that it's not in development stages and not being talked about. That being said it could also mean the opposite that literally nothing is happening with it.

It's definitely something that should be pursued though as the Impreza is a great all around vehicle and would do very well as a hybrid.
