A friend gave me a plate relocation kit that he never used. It's for another car brand so the threads on the post don't fit the Impreza.

Does anyone know where I could just buy the post piece or is there a way to make it from parts at the hardware store?

Perrin makes them for 17+ Impreza #PSP-BDY-207. I got mine from RallySportDirect.com.

I just need the post part. I have the plate part that you attach your actual license plate to.


Are you saying they sell individual parts?

Thanks, I actually ended up buying that one a while back. It's nothing special, but it works. I wasn't really that interested in spending bucks on one since it's just for the license plate. If my bumper had been drilled for a plate I would have never gone this route.

Yes I asked the dealer how much it would be to put one on it was to much so I just got that since it was cheaper lol 😂 🤣
