Do you have an impreza sport or a manual option?
It is the limited cvt.Do you have an impreza sport or a manual option?
Downside with not having a sport CVT or manual transmission is you can’t control the RPMs to make an axleback worth it. Since the CVT will kinda sit a one RPM and not really shift, you’ll have this really low annoying tone come out of the axleback, that gets annoying since you can’t really take advantage of it like you would when you shift or “simulated shift” in the sports. I’ll try to find the thread I discussed it before. It is the limited cvt.
I do have paddle shifters, like the sport models. I can “simulate the shift” if that is what you are talking about. Let me know ? Oh the limiteds come with it? I didn’t know that. Yeah then you should be good. Here is the thread (Bad Cabin Drone/Vibration with Nameless) and people without the paddles/regular CVT have bad cabin drone since it’ll sit around 1.5-2k rpm. If you have paddles it’ll be WAY more enjoyable, I can attest to that 👌🏻I

Thank you! Which exhaust do you have? The 5” or delete? What do you think about it?Oh the limiteds come with it? I didn’t know that. Yeah then you should be good. I actually just posed in another thread about this lol here is a vid comparing other axlebacks on a cross trek, but for the purpose of examples it’s good enough and pretty accurate for being a video (Thank you! Which exhaust do you have? The 5” or delete? What do you think about it?
I agree the cold start is loud regardless of what you get, but luckily mellows outI have a 5MT Sport with an installed Nameless 10" exhaust - got it from another fellow member though. Tech Advisor at the dealer when I took 'er in for a tire rotation liked the exhaust and asked me about it. Not too loud compared to the performance or 5" exhaust but still has a nice sound about it.
It definitely is loud on cold start (at least my personal opinion) that I'm sure my neighbors hear it each morning.
Have a link for the mid pipe? And was it for hatch or sedan?I use afe takjeda midpipe+muffler and am very happy with this. much better than borla I had or borla + nameless midpipe combo I tried.
The Limited has the fake shifting paddles as well. I had two different nameless exhausts, the single with a muffler and then the quad with mufflers. I started driving Uber a lot more so I put the stock muffler on to be less irritating to passengers.Downside with not having a sport CVT or manual transmission is you can’t control the RPMs to make an axleback worth it.
