My '15 Forester does this, but it's after 3hrs I think. The message is worded differently but that's the gist of it. I haven't driven my Impreza far enough to have that happen yet.

That sort of reminds me of a friend of mine, when we would be out for
a late night bite to eat, the waitress would ask "would you like some coffee?"
- "no thanks, he'd say, it keeps me away when I drive"....

So in case your're somebody like him, that's what the reminder is for.

What was happening the 4 hours prior to the sign showing? Were you driving? Was the car parked with ignition turned on? Was your car shutdown and the sign came up shortly after you started it?

(I ask these questions because it seems unlikely you were driving 4 hour stretch on 3 occasions and there might another flaw lurking inside the guts of 2017 Impreza)
I was on my way to SOA plant tour
Left with a full tank, I can go quite a ways
So HWY driving until gas fillup
From my place to the US Border is a little over 4hrs
The white window showed up :surprise::confused: anyways I consulted my bible(owners manual)
Found nothing
I too was wondering about the window popping up that many times if Impreza had a problem
She ran flawless
I kept and eye on water and oil temp
Once I cross the border some hwy and backroads

That's kind of odd and seemingly pointless. If you left the car on and the sign came up and you weren't there, it wouldn't make a difference. If you're driving (like you were) and the sign comes up... still wouldn't make a difference to anyone as nothing changed lol

I have also noticed this usually on longer journeys, but I think it's Subaru's way of telling you to take a break from driving.

Ours is the Premium with 6.5 inch screen and only 2 screens.
In the hooded screen above the dash/center stack, as each hour of elapsed time (ET) passes, it will blink 3 or 4 times, no matter what INFO you have displayed. (Ours is usually the miles to empty). Haven't driven for as long as 3 hours without shutting her down so don't know if it does something different for longer times.

I've had a message at 2 hours, though I think it said "driving for 2 hours". It kinda matches all our safety campaigns of taking a break every 2 hours of driving.
