if you aren't aware of the lemon saga that is my car, please check my other threads:
Here's a tldr version:
steering rack went bad, but in an attempt to fix the unknown problem, dealer replaced axle and hub. New axle exploded on the way home from the dealer, new new axle was installed. Picked up my car on Monday 1/13/2020.
Now to the current issue. I pulled the lower cover so I can try to clean up all the axle grease that burns every time I drive and noticed the front differential has warm oil hanging out on the outside....not where it's supposed to be.
I've driven the car through heavy rain and dry conditions, probably about 150 miles so far, so any oil that was left as a residue should have been washed off by the heavy rain or burnt off. Is there a common explanation for this or is there a legitimate leak now?
Update: I found some other small oil leaks around the oil pan and on the front of the engine. This thing is just bleeding from so many places...granted it's small, but they all add up.
