Was just filling up at the petrol station and noticed this on my roof. Anyone experienced anything similar?

Its not something sticky, feels pretty smooth.

Almost seems like someone’s touched it up but not sure why anyone would scratch the roof?

Hard to say without some reflective panels to see how it interacts with light.

Could also be water/soap residue on the vehicle. If it is touch up paint, I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts flaking off.

Only thing is car was bought brand new. Compared to the 2007 Impreza I had, the quality on finishing works is far from what it used to be on todays Subarus. It's a sad fact of modern day manufacturing.
