I got in the mail yesterday a certificate from Subaru.
the reason the letter stayed was and I quote" WE ARE SORRY YOUR ENJOYMENT OF YOUR 2017 IMPREZA WAS INTERRUPTED BECAUSE OF AN UPDATE THAT WAS REQUIRED TO THE SOFTWARE ON YOUR VEHICLE."ETC.
this is good for genuine Subaru parts, service, accessories, or Subaru gear.
hit the jackpot again.
hope they kept'um coming.

Now that is some customer service and appreciation.

So... the next big question is... what are you guys going to use it on? ;)

Got mine, very nice gesture. Wish I could use it online at the subaru store but looks like you have to go to the dealer. Wonder if the parts dept guys can order from the Subaru Gear web site.

I got my $150 yesterday as well. I'm using mine for the retractable cargo cover on my Impreza.
So only people who had the fix for the backup camera -or- engine control recall got this?
I think my build date just missed both of these fortunately, but a great gesture.

If Ford had done this it would have cost them a fortune! But of course
they can't fix some of their recalls at all... My Fusion Hybrid that I traded-in had no
less then 4-5 major recalls and 3-4 technical service bulletins (fixes). So when
people say this vehicle has a lot of quality issues for new model/production, I am
sympathetic, but Subaru is a much better experience IMHO.
