Hi all,
This is the first auto I've ever owed, though I have driven autos over the years. Does any know if the lockup on the torque converter on the CVT engages almost immediately, or waits around? I can't judge by its driving behaviour if the lockup is engaging/disengaging or its just the CVT adjusting the gears quickly on accel and deaccel.

I read online that it "locks at a certain speed & you should be able to feel it disengage at lower speeds". Wish I could be more helpful. Maybe google "cvt torque converter Subaru".
