Dear Community Members,

We are very excited to announce that we are live from the new platform! We have been working hard over the past few months with leading design and product firm to deliver a cleaner, faster and more engaging experience for you and your community. We have leveraged XenForo tools and features but added layers of modern design and technology to make the site run faster, smoother and overall be more reliable. All of the valuable and informative content archived within your community is still here, even though the layout may look a bit different. Check out some of the new improvements:

Engage with your community wherever you are and on the go!
The site is optimized for all screen sizes, including mobile. All features are available and ready to use on all devices.

Speed and reliability are the foundation of this new platform.
No one should have to wait for information. This site has been built to be much faster and more reliable, period.

Easy to use and navigate.
We have made the design clean and simple to focus on the areas the community uses the most and removed the clutter. The collapsed menu by your profile avatar will provide easy access to the most popular topics as well as Showcase and Gallery to view the latest photos from your fellow members.

Show off your own collection.
We have introduced “My Showcase” for you to build and display images of your own collection or wish list to the rest of the community. This is your opportunity to upload often and share your passion!

Feel the pulse of the community.
Your home page now features the most active topics, viewed photos, recommended reading and top contributing members. This will help keep you the most up to date on what’s happening in your community.

These are just a few of the great new functions and features to try on the site. Please take a tour and look around! If you have any questions, please check out the HELP section for some quick FAQs about the new platform, Help Section

Please let us know what you think about the new experience, your feedback is important to us.

Thank you all for your support during this amazing journey!

There should be a link to view all new posts right off the homepage.
+1 - that was how I always access these forums. The new format looks great but is very hard to navigate. Sorry, may be the end of my frequent visits it is doesn't get more user friendly. :(

This is a very clean looking and attractive site. I use other forums based on the same software. I love one feature implemented that I don't see here. It brings up a list of all topics with unread postings. Also, each topic is set to automatically jump to the first unread posting, instead of having to click on a button to jump there. Works 95% of the time.

For those of you looking for how to find new posts.

How do I find new posts?
From the navigation, near the upper right-hand corner, click on the trending button.

This will open a new page where you can click to choose “new posts”.

You can also choose to “mark forums read” on that same page.

Please let me know if you are having trouble finding anything.

I am your tour guide. :)

The new post buttons on the home page only appear for me when using chrome, firefox and IE seem to format the top bar a little differently hiding buttons or missing icons.

Advertisements integrated with suggested threads (in the same font/color/size) is annoying. While the site looks good, there's less info on a page at any given time (less condensed?), requiring lots more scrolling/clicking to access the same info.

Unfortunately, IE hasn't stayed up to date with many modern features. So far I have tested from Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on the Mac with no issues.

We are listening to all feedback and passing it on for possible updates in the future.

If would be nice if there was a button or icon that showed when someone quoted you. Or, am I missing that?

Do you mean this ^^ or you want a notification like a PM or subscription list showing you where quoted?
-Philip
Like an icon next to your user icon that you can click on that would show you a list of threads where people quoted you. After you look at the list the icon would not be highlighted or "on".

Depending on your preference settings, you should be seeing an alert when someone quotes you.

Click on your avatar near the upper right-hand corner of the community and select "alerts".

Once you click on alerts, you will see quoted alerts as well as any other alerts.

Let me know if that was what you were looking for.

The site has always had some sort of limit related to searching for older posts and it Lillie's like the restriction has carried forward. Is there a way to make all posts searchable?

Edit: Hmmm.... Apparently my phone thinks that "looks" should be auto corrected to "Lillie's"

I hope to have more information regarding search soon.

I think the main page should have a button to click that has "new posts" on it or just have new posts on the main. To have to click the arrow up key to get to the page that has the new posts on it is too much. People want to open the main page, see new posts and see if there is anything they want to comment on. Having to go and look for new posts doesn't make sense in my opinion.
