What exterior mods look good for the hatchback in white?

Hey all. I'm pretty new here and I've just mainly been browsing the forums for a bit. I am actually looking to place an order for the 23 manual hatchback in the white exterior, but not sure if I'm 100% sold on the white just yet. I was looking to get some ideas with what others have done as far as exterior mods go in the white colorway. I've seen a lot of pretty cool examples mainly in darker colors, and I have a basic idea of what I like so far, but would be helpful to get some more inspiration.

Just as an example, here is one particular Impreza that I thought was dope - (@ats_gt6) • Instagram photos and videos

Thanks!

Hello and welcome.

Here is my white hatch with front lip, Ez lip side skirts, rear canards/spatz, window visors, rallyarmor mudflaps, custom fog lights, blacked out wings on grill, and beamtech led headlight bulbs.

I installed limited headlights now but it's not shown in that picture. I also broke that lip so I went back to the ez front lip.

White is beautiful and I believe you can make it as nice as any other color. Can't go wrong!

I have a CWP 2020 Sport, if you wanna check out what I've done to mine so far. My "Build Thread"
20% Tint, Black roof wrap, black/white Subaru emblems, hatch debadge, OLM Night DRL harness, etc. Planning on getting a set of wheels and the STi lips eventually.
I kept debating doing a black roof wrap to mine as well. The look is amazing but I've also seen sun fading and wear when wrap is removed due to baking in the sun. So that's the only reason I haven't done mine yet.

If I wasn't worried about damage, the roof for sure would be wrapped by now haha.
I've always read that you should only leave a wrap on for 1-2 years, or it will get baked on and become super brittle. The wrap itself doesn't damage the paint; trying to remove the baked on wrap from your paint is where the damage comes from. At least, that's what a professional told me. He also told me that Avery and 3M vinyl should last up to 7 years on your car.. So I'm not really sure what to believe anymore. I used VViViD Vinyl on my roof.
All I got so far as for mods are, blacked out front grill molding and winglets. Black and white Subaru badging and window visors but those came with the car. At some point I'm planning on wrapping the car to a different color I'm just not sure what that color would be just yet.
My $500 voucher from ordering my car expires in September, so I figure I'll order a front lip and the STi spoiler from the dealer, installing myself at home.

Otherwise I've installed the olm night harness, a nameless performance 10" muffler, and not cosmetic but definitely makes oil changes easier: fumoto drain valve

I have to ask @JGR what is the difference between the stock wing and the STI wing? I see the canards, but is that it?

Thanks for your reference to my Impreza!

For white body cars, how about tinting the taillights?

This is my follower’s example(Impreza sedan). https://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/2265880/car/1762361/5271328/note.aspx

Really it's just the vortex generators & the small STi badge centered at the rear. That's about all the change.

The taillight tint changes the whole look of the car(crappy pic can take some better ones), but I’m happy with how it turned out. Took about an hour of my time, a heat gun, some wrap tools and a $10 roll of vvivid + air dark black tint off Amazon. Plasti dipped the rear emblems, planning on debadgin in the next few weeks. The OEM rain guards look really good on the hatch. I also have carbon fiber door handles that I got off Amazon that for $25 look sick on the car. It’s all personal preference. Would love to add the limited headlights, but still looking into what the install would be on the sport trim since The fogs are DRL and I have the OLM night harness installed.

Be very careful with tail light tint, it can be seriously dangerous. It’s very important to make sure that your lights are visible. If people can’t see you stopping that’s kind of an issue.
The tint on my lights is fully transparent at night time. Minimal loss of light output coupled with LED brake bulbs.

Hm interesting good to know, looks great too!
I'm pretty certain that any of the tail light tint kits you can find on Etsy and such are only for the reverse light and the turn signals. No tint is applied to any of the actual brake light.
I got a fairly light tint kit from Crux Moto. 50% 3M Tint film. PLENTY of light still shines through it.

The STI spoiler isn't that similar to the stardard Impreza spoiler. It's higher, longer and has vortex generators.

This is the Levorg in an STI windtunnel--start @ ~12:15 for the spoiler:

I did some digging to compare, and you're more right than I thought, as I was curious to the different spoilers between the Levorg and the Impreza, as they both have different P/Ns, but then I compared the Impreza spoiler to the stock images for Subaru America, and there is a more noticeable difference side-by-side between the two.

I will say, the Levorg has an interesting spoiler, where rather than a wholly new piece to replace the stock spoiler, it is instead an add-on for the original spoiler on the vehicle.
