More wires ...

As I start my custom lighting and audio, I wanted to share the wiring information that I have.
If you ever research any wires that go to the trunk, please add that to the thread.

Specifically, I'm looking for a 12vDC source in the trunk (4-door/sedan model), switched or unswitched. Right now, it looks like the 15A rear wiper motor line from the engine compartment fuse box would be great (since the 4DR model doesn't have a wiper).

I plan on doing some write ups around Radio Removal, Speakers Removal, etc. Currently I have been working on sound deadening in the hatch.

I have the 8" display.

If you have the amplified system, you can get these wires at the amplifier under that passenger seat. (Black 30 pin plug)

Left Front Speaker (Woofer/door) (-) blue (+) lt. green
Left Front Tweeter (-) pink (+) red

Right Front Speaker (Woofer/door) (-) lt.blue (+) brown
Right Front Tweeter (-) purple (+) pink

Left Rear Speaker (-) blue (+) lt. green
Right Rear Speaker (-) red (+) white

In my 18 sport (with 8" screen) both rear speaker wires were (+)white (-) red at the speaker. My system is non amplified. The colors behind the factory deck were 100% to original post, but at the speakers in the rear doors this is what I found.

bumping an old thread here. I have the 6.5" screen and am wanting to change the color of the buttons below the screen from white to red to match the rest of the interior. Has anyone gotten the unit out to see how the buttons are illuminated?

Hi Kenova,
Very impressive start. Any progress since?
There are service manuals out there but the organization of these and (to my knowledge) lack of drawings (pictures) showing where each of the connector is makes it harder. Also - Subaru implements many features as an "after thought" so connectors with same designators have often different number of pins (and pinouts) depending on E/S, Push Button Start and such.
Curious to see more if you have an update.
Thanks - Martin
