My last 3 Jeeps all had recalls. 1996 Jeep Cherokee, 1999 Grand Cherokee, 2005 Grand Cherokee. The 2005's recall had to be done 3x by a dealership to get it done properly.

My 1983 CJ7 probably had some recall at some point, but it had so many new parts on it that I didn't bother checking.

Sadly they really don't make them like they used to, in general
Quick searching it looks like the 2000 Cherokee had 7 recalls.
Couple of them could lead to fires actually.

I stand corrected on that one. It was a lease I turned in so I was never notified.

When I had my tires changed last week, they did a fluids check to see what other services they could sell me. The testing of my brake fluid showed near 0% copper contaminant. They said it looked like I'd had a flush done recently. Subaru said they only topped up the brake fluid with the line replacement, but maybe they did an unofficial flush too. It just seems to me like it would be difficult to do this brake line replacement right with only topping off the reservoir.
