Putting a winch on an Impreza

I have a 2018 model year Impreza that I'd like to put a winch on. I find getting in & out of my Vermont cabin in the winter to be problematic. I have a local plow the 1/2 mile dirt drive into the place, but there's a very steep section that the Impreza gets stuck on the drive out when it's icy. My old jeep had a winch, which let me pull myself out. As it is now with the Impreza, I simply don't go all the way in.

Looking around on the web I've yet to find much for mounting systems (bully bars, etc.) for this late of model year Impreza capable of taking a winch. Gorilla Offroad at one time had something for older model Imprezas.

Anyone know of anything?

Lurking on dead threads here but here you go: LP Aventure bumper guard - 2017-2018 Impreza

It's expensive compared to some others out there but it also has more mounting points compared to others that i've seen.
Rally Innovation has a light bar thing but it mounts to the radiator support so I wouldn't suggest that one.
And you can do a skid plate!

Companies like Warn have been starting to make winch mounts for the Crosstrek.

Not sure if it's compatible with the Impreza. There's been a few times where I've thought the Crosstrek and Impreza were exactly the same, but it turns out not really.

A winch mount and winch can get pretty pricey. I'm with Alex on just putting the winch on a tree.

Since this thread was started LP Adventure has been making some really cool off road add ons for Subarus. But I don't think that anything they make is made to hold a winch.

As I mentioned before find a local shop that does metal fabrication and ask them to fabricate something to the front of the car that can support a winch. In my opinion it certainly won't look good to have a winch on the front of an Impreza but it sounds like you have a need for it.

Please let us know what you do so that it can help out other people who are looking to do the same, thanks!

The company called rally innovations has some very nice looking bar bumper that can support a winch as well as light bars
