What’s up guys. This is my third thread about sound deadening, this time I’m getting more specific as I read more off other forums…

I was looking into several options to help the drone inside my cabin from my nameless 5” axle back on my CVT. It’s very bad around 2-3k rpm especially on the freeway.

Right now I have dynamat lined across the spare tire well. I also read various threads where people tried the following and I’d like to know your thoughts.

1. Closed vs Open Cell Foam
2. Dynamat (already tried)
3. Lead Ignot attachments to the front of the muffler
4. Thick Carpet insulation
5. Bed liner spray under the sheet metal undercarriage

If you have anything else in mind please share.
Thanks!
